Most of the pysankas depicted in this puzzle were created by Vira Manko (born 1956), a famous pysanka artist from Lviv who promotes Ukrainian folk culture. She has been making Easter eggs since 1986 and is a member of the Lviv branch of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine. Over the course of her career, Vira Manko has painted more than three thousand Easter eggs from different regions of Ukraine.
She owns the largest private collection of Easter eggs, which includes more than 3,500 handmade reproductions of ancient and modern artefacts, as well as Easter eggs purchased at annual pre-Easter fairs.
This wooden jigsaw puzzle "Pysanky" not only demonstrates the beauty of Ukrainian Easter eggs, but also tells the story of an artist who dedicated her life to preserving and promoting this art. High-quality wooden puzzle pieces ensure a pleasant assembly experience and durability of the product.
