What do they say about a well-tuned engine? That it runs like a clock. And here's a new 3D construction set - a fine-tuned clock that works (and looks) like a real engine! This pendulum table clock simulates the workings of an engine with moving pistons at the top of the model. A stylised speedometer and tachometer have been added to indicate the time (hours and minutes).
The movement runs for about 5 hours on a single winding of the spring, and has a retrograde mechanism that automatically resets the second hand to 0. The pendulum and escapement make a pleasant ticking sound to indicate the passing seconds. It is wound with a key.
The Engine watch is a cool addition to a watch collection, with a medium level of difficulty for a fun assembly. This watch assembles without glue or special tools. Instructions are included.
